What is going on with our defense?

Third week in a row giving up massive yardage. What has changed? Why do we EVER do the two man rush? It is a 100pct fail.

Was that Jagared that went to the locker room for awhile. Stephon Smith had one truly outstanding sack that showed his potential.

totally bogus claim.
270 yds is not massive.

the defense played reasonably well, with some breakdowns, and some stand-out plays.

stallion, Stephon Sanders, right? that was indeed a great play.

Maybe you were ok that we gave up yards all day against the worst team in football and let them back in the game to score 24 - but I was disappointed. We bring that level of d to the rest of our season and we lose out.

The defense only really had 2 bad drives.

You do realize that 7 of Tulane's points came on a Zach Line fumble.

But they were about to score on us before they fumbled and we recovered. Cancels out.

That said, other than occasional big plays, defense is not our problem.

Yes. Also realize tulane is the worst team in football. They stopped themselves most of the day. Just was not impressed with effort.

thought we could have 7-8 sacks today. A couple of times the QB looked like he was waiting to be tackled but never went down cause we weren't there

we were in a 4-3 in a fair amount (if not, much) of this game, as the announcers pointed out.
