FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- In addition to placing safety Josh Barrett on injured reserve, the Patriots made a series of other roster moves on Wednesday. Linebacker Niko Koutouvides has been re-signed, while cornerback Sterling Moore has been promoted to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.
"He's a tremendous athlete. You can put him at corner, put him at slot, put him at safety," Ihedigbo said. "He's very intelligent for a young player. We have confidence that he is going to step in and fill the role that we need."
