apparently half student body started Thanksging break early. Those that came seemed to be into it. Season Ticket holders showed up in greater numbers because of an opponent that cared about beating

Strong Navy showing. Full visitors section, not many empty seats in between folks.
Blvd. was one of the weakest, if not the weakest, so far this year.
Rice game will be brutal.

looks like season attendance will dip for second straight year during most succesful period since DP. Look in the mirror SMU alumni, students, family and friends-or better yet look 40 miles west because they actually support their program

That team to the west has been blowing out teams like Navy for 10 years now. I'm sorry but most of us on PF'S go to the games. However, you are not going to fill a stadium with casual fans when the team performs like the current SMU team. Going 7-6, 6-6, 7-7 will not pack the house. Not happening. Especially when you're selling a high powered offense that puts 17 points on the board.

Enough about the attendance. There's no chance of it happening until we have some 10+ win seasons.

Man it seem like there was a whole lot of Navy people on our alumni (home side). Because when I listen to the cheers over there towards the end, I thought we recovered a fumble, but it was a navy touchdown.

The thing is everybody is navy fan (or general armed forces school fan) but not everyone is a SMU fan...
