I think I'll just wait until the school announces something definite. There's been so much conflicting discussion, I'm out.

Laken Litman
#SMU's Zach Line didn't practice today & is in a boot. June Jones says he's a "gameday decision" vs. Houston. (But really, he's gonna play.)

From Coach Jones' comments I don't think Line is ruled out for Houston yet (unless I missed an announcement otherwise) much less the rest of the season. And, I certainly hope Line is well enough to play. However, I think Williams would prove to be a GREAT backup. He's strong and with good speed. I think his biggest drawback is that he is a freshman.

I've been told he teared something in his foot. Not turf toe.
Hopefully he can recover.

If it is a tear then season could be over.

He needs at least 2 more TDs for the record. I would like to see him get it.

The last series on the goal line when he was walking out to the huddle, he was obviously hurting.

In fact, to give you an idea of how slow he was, he started with a 20 yard head start on JJMcD and McDermott passed him 15 yards later...

Zach looked reasonably alright after the game, walking in a boot but carrying a bag over his shoulder as he left Ford and headed down the stairs of the garage. Would be terrible to lose him, but I hope that he recovers instead of risking more serious injury.
