Re: The Stampede
Team looked extremely embarrassed after that loss. Frustrated to the point of tears. Good to see something from them. The emotionless expression walking into halftime only 7 down deeply concerned me and seeing this helps. So in that sense it is cathartic.

Re: The Stampede
It was ok, nice gwb out on the field. Also they try their best to spin it around. Like I said after the game, and what they showd, the defense did the best they could and had the most intensity rather than the offense (excluding line)
The Stampede
Thanks. I may watch it later

It wasn't so much of a "wasted" week for the 6 teams that had already beaten Navy this year. We have the only coaching staff in America that acts like it is okay to lose games as some games "don't matter".

Re: The Stampede
Have to agree with you there. I'm so tired of the Navy excuses. Here's a suggestion-Navy has a better football program than SMU a fact that has been proven both in all games between the schools but also in their season achievements over the years. Its not a system beating SMU. The problem is that SMU doesn't have a strong enough football program to beat Navy yet

Re: The Stampede
If it is so "wasted" why schedule them? To get us notoriety? Great, a loss and a tiny blurb in an article talking about Navy "righting the ship" in the Washington Post. Worth it.
Re: The Stampede
hopefully they don't think uoh is a wasted week too.
i thought all games were big games.
