Big East announcement could come before @CollegeGameDay goes live from SMU-UH. @DrewJay sez might've come last wk had not been for PSU mess.

RB- couldn't agree more. Between the constant rumors, delays and our poor performance it is very difficult to maintain much enthusiasm.

Exactly. Our poor play the last 4 weeks has more to do with it than anything I think. For me at least.

would be really good timing and great PR for Big East if everything was in place to make an announcement Saturday, but I have my doubts. Too many pieces of this puzzle and still have the issue of departure/arrival dates to be worked out. Lots of talk about 6 new members coming in but remember West Virginia's announcement to leave means 7 newbies are needed for football...as of the 2013 season as things now stand

If there is an announcement, let's hope Houston and SMU in particular put on a show that lives up to the hype

Since one of the rumored delays is in regards to how the announcement will be made I think Houston and SMU should announce on College Gameday with or without BYU, Boise State, Air Force, Navy, and UCF.

Good News: I hear there's going to be an announcement LATER THIS WEEK!

The first 5 times we heard that, well there were a few delays, but now they mean it. Unless it is early next week of course.
