Post- Dispatch headline - Pinkel in a pickle over dough which was to be spent for the herb, dill. Boone County sheriffs pulled over Gary Pinkel last night for erratic driving. Gary said he was going to a grocery store after a dinner out with friends. He is reported to have told the officers" I was not paying attention to the road while I looked for my dill dough.' The following statement was later issued out of State College PA, " We knew Gary P. was our type of coach".

It doesn't say Sherman wasn't with him. Sherman was probably drinking in the next seat over (not a crime - Missouri permits one open container per passenger, just doesn't allow the driver to have one)
