Okay, since things are sooooooo quiet around here, and we're all emotionally beat-up from this long year, toss in your vote on your reflection of the past few months.

Injuries are part of the game. We'll never know if Padron would have had more snaps. i predicted 7-5 just not this way. Season is fine if we beat Rice. Navy and Tulsa were big disappointments (execution and energy)

Other than Navy, the year went about how I thought record wise with our schedule.

We had a major let down in Tulsa. cougar high beat tulsa worse than they beat us the week before and it was a home game for the golden showers. We should have won that game. USM- we could have beaten if we had had an O that game. Losing to Navy was pathetic- should never have happened. TCwho was a major win and unfortunately raised expectations. A lot will depend on beating Rice.

GO PONIES!!!

Check back after we find out if in year four of June's tenure we can beat a team that hasn't won a road CUSA game in three years and a school that we should never, ever lose to.

All and all, season went as I thought.

At the beginning of the year, you tagged the Navy game as a win and the TCU game on the road as a loss, just flip those and the record still came out pretty much like anyone should have expected.

Now, the way we lost some of those games, like the Tulsa game, was unexpected.

But overall, I am pleased with the record.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

Guaranteed a winning record no matter the bowl game result.
7-5 regular season for third straight year.
I am fine with this.

The program still has a lot of depth issues which magnified the injury situation. I felt that we matched up physically, especially on defense, better than in the past. We had trouble with the teams that I suspected would give us trouble. My biggest disappointment was that we didn't figure out a way to match up better against Navy. I'm excited that we have a 3rd bowl invite in as many years and find it comforting that a 7-5 record is considered a disappointment. Our progress as a program has been incremental and noticeable in just about every category, except for attendance.
