....come to SMU and make the announcement that you will never allow these CUSA officials back to Ford Stadium.
1. A holding penalty brings the ball back on a big play. The crew can't decide if it happened at the 27 or 37 before it decides the 37. Then it can't remember an accepted penalty means the down gets repeated. But no, it's second down instead of first down. Shame on SMU for not getting 2 yards but come on...
2. Then on Rice's first fourth down convesion in the final moments, the crew doesn't review the play (which I was told via text was an incomplete pass) and doesn't even check to measure. I'm sitting right across from that play and it looked short. Now, I don't know if June can ask for a measurement. I always thought a coach could but it was up to the crew to grant/deny it. Why doesn't June challenge that -- or do college coaches get challenges anymore? I don't know. It was too close for this crew not to make sure it was/was not a first down.
This crew stunk! CUSA needs to review all of them for them to be eligible to work again in 2012.

CUSA referees are some of the worst in college football. Been that way ever since SMU joined the conference

The replay of Rice's 4th down pass showed that the receiver didn't have possession of the ball when he hit the ground.

That's such a good point - the fans need to get louder with calls like the ones I saw today. The old SMU days of football complacency need to go away and we as the fans need to help the team hear us!

The 10 of us at the game were yelling. Like a ref will change a call cause fans yell? CUSA refs are the worst.
