Makes more sense for Marshall to be put in the BOB, Tulsa in the AFB (BYU guarantees a sellout no matter who the opponent) and us in the TCB (we'd draw more than any other C-USA team or an at-large).

The Dec 3, 2011 BYU @ Hawaii game has implications for SMU. If Hawaii beats BYU, this means Hawaii becomes bowl eligible with a 7-6 record. If this happens, I see a Hawaii Bowl matchup of SMU vs Hawaii.

The Dec 3, 2011 BYU @ Hawaii game has implications for SMU. If Hawaii beats BYU, this means Hawaii becomes bowl eligible with a 7-6 record. If this happens, I see a Hawaii Bowl matchup of SMU vs Hawaii.

The above scenarios assume Hawaii will lose to BYU and Houston will beat Southern Miss. Of course we've known for months that if both SMU and Hawaii reached bowl eligibility that they would play in the Hawaii Bowl.

Hoping and happy that hawaii loses to BYU. I figure everyone knows that BYU will dominate. Im fine with either bowl game and will be ready to buy tickets. I think houston will be irrelevant to which bowl we get, but I think the two bowls will fight each to the death for us. AFB i think wont be stressing because they have like people said huge crowd attendance. So Im pulling for TCB.

i know that i would prefer TCB b/c we would get a shot at a B1G team, but the game is the exact same time as a flight i have booked, so i'm hoping for a game i can actually watch.

Oh that sucks, either way, I enjoyed AFB last year, and playing BYU rather than Army is a big step up.

Hawaii actually started their 3rd String QB in his first start. He got a concussion and former 2nd stringer came back in. I read original starter Mouniz may be available for Bowl

I want to count them out, because thats the last bowl I want SMU to go to. Im happy Hawaii sucks.
