The Clery Act requires universities to disclose criminal acts and, under certain circumstances, to issue a warning for particular threats. Starting today, the U.S. Department of Education is thus looking into whether Penn State's actions violated federal law. Also, per the New York Times, as many as 11 victims are looking into filing civil suits against The Second Mile, which is why the attorney for one of the victims filed an injunction to keep Jerry Sandusky's former charity from ridding itself of its assets by folding. And, according to the Centre County Daily Times, an imprisoned man in Oklahoma has contacted Penn State police to say he, too, may have been one of Sandusky's victims. The Pennsylvania Attorney General is investigating the man's claim.

Looks like lack of institutional control (beyond the NCAA level) is gonna hurt Penn State.

The NCAA can suck a d, they have no business in this mess.
And Penn state could lose a significant portion of thier endowment if the payout is as big as I bet its gonna be

Wow. I wouldn't be surprised to see PSU lose over half it's endowment. Devastating.
