General / Senator Mitch Correct #2
I guess the Senator was in fact right and JJ is gone and has shown his true colors.
Many here like to name call, point out a typo, spelling errors, etc. but the facts indicate Senator is correct more often than wrong.
Also the Senator is a supporter with tickets, donations, time, etc. like many of us are and have been since 1990. Some of you bashers who just name call may need to give him the credit -- he called this one long time ago.

The next coach we hire will be the next coach that leaves. Either he quits or we fire him.
It is known.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Partially agree. I typically agree with 25% or less of what he posts here and truly find the Golden Gopher and Big 10 talk very tiresome. I too am a long time Mustang Club member with a undergrad and graduate degree from SMU, and have been a season ticket holder for almost 15 years. I like this board as a good source of information (thanks Pony Pride and others) and for general amusement purposes, not as a source of annoyance. Because of this, I am happy to say I recently discovered the foe feature on Ponyfans and now read posts from 2 less people. Here's hoping we come out better on the other side of this.

Results on the field really weren't what it was about me.

Yes, on the top PF banner, click on User Control Panel, then on the Friends and Foes tab. Pretty self explanatory from there and seems to work pretty well.

It's not so much your content which I find on the whiny but at least sometimes insightful side, but your avatar and footer pic suck. You really do like to [deleted] about Jones like Mitch McConnell [deleted] about Obama.

It's unproductive. Party of No Jones. I think everyone gets that you hate him.
But before this week what's the main problem you have w/ him? You say it's not on the field.

No offense but do some research on it.

What Mitch the [deleted] is and what he has been working hard to achieve is his wish that Jones leave. Whether or not he will be proven right is still to be seen in a couple of years. Will Jones fall or further succeed, will the R&S be successful at ASU? Will SMU fall or benefit from Jones leaving or staying. So Mitch the [deleted] has considerable Risk but he is oblivious to it, it is in his nature.
The risk of wanting Jones out now is serious and could be disastrous for SMU in the short term. Now is when Mitch the [deleted] has always wanted him out. So to complain when Jones leaves on his terms is petty. The only way it would be equitable is if it happened at the end of his contract.
Right now, there is no risk for Jones leaving that he does not already have. He would actually be given a token grace period to implement his program at ASU. The ASU complaining would stop as soon as they win two or three games.

I love the charge words, "serious" and "disastrous''
There's risk in any hire. Nothing is a slam dunk, smart guy.
And do you believe Charles Manson when he said that when ABC produced the first Charlie's Angels that it was about him because no one saw Charlie?
I'll be at Ford in 2012.
Will you?
