Yoo Hoo Mitch... Don't do anything Crazy...

Post by RSFan »

I know you had your heart set on destruction... The end of the Jones era... The destruction of the man, June Jones... The end of Runnin and Shootin...

Don't go gettin all drunked up and wreck your car and hurt someone...

Try to look at the brite side... This whole mess may be what the program has needed since the UCF game. A real knockdown .. get down... put it all on the table and then sort out who owns what, and then take responsibility for it and all of us do something positive to fix it...

We know the Coach and Team were unhappy with the fans attendance and respect... We know the Fans want to do a make over of Jones wardrobe and for him to become more SMU .. Tell June how you feel about making the QB run to the sideline... Ask each other what we can do for the Team and what the Team can do for the fans... Many fans realize we need to do a better job marketing the program... We all know we need to save the recruits...

Then let the Huggin and Kissin begin.... :D :D :D just don't do any grab assin...

I know deep down you are not a bad guy so let me be the first to let bygones be bygones.... OK Mitch OK... Let's both support the Coach and Team and put this train back on track...

Go get Pitt...

RSFan -- I'm devout to the school and always want the teams to succeed. I wouldn't have shown up at the Rice game if I didn't. I had every reason not to be there. But I was.

He's not my kind of person or coach and never will be. But it is what it is. So we move on.

There's a lot of rehabbing and healing that needs to take place and it needs to start first in that locker room with those players..

He has a lot of work to do.

Now, he has a lot of scrutiny and pressure on him and that staff. We'll see how far he's willing to take this.

I agree with you 100%... First fix the locker room and shore up the recruits... But then we need to all come together as crazy as intervention sounds more like Mediation of the collective minds...

I ask you to please soften your heart and let Jones in, I know his intentions are good and he has a right to feel frustrated just as you do... Jones needs to talk more about his feelings before looking elsewhere.

Every one of us want the Mustangs to win and it takes a total Team effort of coaches, players, fans and the school to accomplish that...

RSFan -- The only thing that I will assure you for 2012 is that I am renewing my season tickets for 2012 because it is my school and I'm proud to be a part of its history.

My dad taught me one thing about loyalty. People may bag on me for my ranting about Minnesota, but I wouldn't do it if I didn't mean it. I love the Gophers and University of Minnesota because my Dad went there and I loved my Dad very much.

And for the past three years I've gone to MSP to watch them play not because it's an excuse to party for a weekend (but that doesn't hurt either) but I go because I honor him.

I hope what I teach my kids about SMU is what my Dad taught me about his loyalty with Minnesota.

That's what June doesn't get IMO.

Mitch.. I can say I respect you for the courage to state your personal feelings for your father and your position of personal integrity. It is good to self define who we are, it helps guide us when we are challenged with difficult decisions. So I am sure you will instill those values in your children.

Mitch, you should go meet up with Jones and discuss your feelings, not in a group meeting but a one on one and express yourself and see if there is a way to constructively deal with your concerns.
