The Ticket's Treatment
The Ticket discussed the SMU situation today around 9:45 am. Summary:
Bizarre story to follow yesterday. Signed sealed and delivered in morning, then in afternoon, ASU pulls the deal.
The buyout was a problem. Also reports that JJ didn't go over well in Tempe. Apparently JJ isn't a fan favorite in Tempe or in Dallas. Not one person posted anything positive at ASU, now a lot of SMU fans are upset.
Isn't it awkward when your agent says you had an agreement and that you were gone?
Very awkward for him now at SMU.
That's it.

Re: The Ticket's Treatment
I can understand SMU's position in the sports market here, but what a contrast between this treatment this morning and what was going on at 620 am (AZ station) yesterday.

at times like this, maybe it's a good thing so few people are interested in SMU

nah, more passionate fans is never a bad thing. good times or bad. the volume that comes with numbers can be heard from farther away and bring more attention to the program.

Sure... Tell that to Penn State.

Exactly it how we hide our most nfl staff in CFB... and people like Klemm. When JJ did this stupid ASU thing, it made everyone realize that we have good people. Because outside of SMU going to 3 low-tier bowls means nothing.
