Re: Marinovich Project
I heard the commercial for this on ESPN Radio and got excited immediately.
Great idea for a 30 for 30. Dont' have a television right now but will see it as soon as I can.

I haven't seen it yet.
Two of my exec producers on Excess are the directors. Looking forward to seeing it in ~15 minutes.

Should be interesting. He was touted as the next great thing. Sounds like a story of Dad wanting more than what Jr wanted.
Re: Marinovich Project

good story.
good story.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Marinovich Project
Saw the show. Hope Todd gets his life together, but you want to talk about a dysfunctional dad.

Re: Marinovich Project
BTW - the two directors are Mustangs. They met in film school on the Hilltop. (To be fair, one was a film student, the other a journalism student, if I recall correctly... but all the same, they are MUSTANGS!!)

Just watched it this morning, thought it was pretty good. Love 30 for 30!
Re: Marinovich Project
probably a little better than the Chris Herren one, but all of them are entertaining in some aspects.
I forget that the Raiders were in LA at the time. His dad treated him like some experiment.

Re: Marinovich Project
It's a sad story that I've heard before. But it's worth telling again. Totally weird way to grow up seems like you'd have to be made of steel to even survive with all those expectations. Hopefully Todd can keep things going straight. His half brother that was in the movie is a Senior Defensive end for Syracuse.

I'm amazed Marv didn't name his son Ivan Drago Marinovich..."I must break you."
