Your and others negativism is getting old and do much to damage recruiting. Certainly you must know that recruits read this board. We had a rough week with a coaching situation but it is behind us so get over it. If you want to do something positive try to find a way to get students and fans into the stadium. That is our biggest problem. As for the R&S SMU will never attract the kind of personnel needed for power football. Like him or not June has brought a new beginning for SMU football, or you must have a short memory.

The run and shoot does not seem to be vastly different from the spread, does it? Aren't about half the teams in college running a variation of that?
