I hit In N Out the other night. double double animal style. It was pretty damn good.

Chic fil a for sure, In N Out is okay. The last two times I've had it (the one off of 75), it's been incredibly average.

I agree. I don't think it is overrated. It is fast food and better than any other fast food joint that I know of. Chick filet is good but is also chicken. Not comparing apples to apples.

In-n-out/chick-fil-a is comparing apples to oranges. I was just trying to decide where to grab lunch today. In-n-out is a victim of their own success. The hype when they entered the market was so great no fast food burger could live up to that. Once the hype dies down and people realize it's just a burger (a very good one, IMO), they'll do well.
