Former DE Trent Hncir is now a (blocking) TE.
Inside WRs Cody Cardwell and Chris Cunningham are now lining up outside (with Cardwell running with the second team behind Johnnie Freeman). Outside WR Billy Ford is now lining up in the slot, and apparently looks faster than he has in the past.
This is the fifth position Ford has played since his arrival at SMU (safety, linebacker, tight end, outside receiver, now inside receiver.) How can he keep all the switches straight?

He must be a smart guy! It is great that he scored the first TD in Ford in his first game at his new position.

How about asking the HUGE o-line guy Luter (I think) to play d-tackle. At least in practice so our O-line can be challenged to move some big people.
