Robinson Promoted to Redskins' 53-Man Roster

Robinson, whom Washington drafted in the sixth round out of Southern Methodist University, spent the entire season on the practice squad, but will get the opportunity to compete for playing time in the season finale at Philadelphia on Sunday.

The 5-foot-10, 184-pound Robinson has great speed. He clocked a 4.35-second 40-yard dash at the NFL combine. At SMU, he recorded 81 receptions, 3,314 yards (fifth in SMU history) and 30 touchdowns for the Mustangs over a four-year career.
