Hudson Worthy QB

Post by smucarolina »

What do you think of this guy? I think he is a real sleeper. If SMU wasn't so deep on QBs I would recommend him if I knew who to speak to

Porter-Gaude's Hudson Worthy is the top returning quarterback in the state in terms of statistics. During his junior season, he passed for 4,115 yards, completing 69% of his passes, for 43 touchdowns and had 6 rushing touchdowns.

He is already listed among SCVarsity.com's top quarterbacks for the 2012 Class. He is on track to surpass the 10,000 yards mark for his career.

He came from a small private school that just does not attract much attention. Secondly, his star receiver last year did get a D-1 offer at Clemson which for the school is unusual. People wanted to see if he could perform this year without him. He put up big numbers again but for some reason still did not garner attention.

Definitely a sleeper though.

geez, how hard is it for JJ to get on a plane and fly to see the kid. We can compete with the schools recruiting him especially losing printz.

Are JJ and Morrison even aware of this kid? Somebody should contact them and inform them of him.

Not the best delivery. Looks like he heave-hoed every throw and had a weird finishing position with his body at the end of his delivery. Who knows, maybe that can be corrected by the guru.

His name is worthy (no pun) of Heisman consideration though.

And the more you read/hear about him, the better he sounds. Looking forward to seeing him in red and blue!

That's what I've been hearing too. Some people who evaluate QBs for a living were very high on Burcham.
