Mike O'Guin update

Post by PonyPride »

Ran into injured defensive tackle Mike O'Guin Wednesday and asked for a quick update. O'Guin, who suffered a severe injury to his left knee April 13, said today that he has had a second surgery to clean out some scar tissue that had built up after his initial surgery. O'Guin said the knee doesn't hurt and that he can get up and down stairs easily, and is doing extensive rehab work, and is hoping to be cleared in time to take part in spring workouts with his teammates.

Good news. Thanks for the update. We could use him back. We don't have many DTs in his mold.

That's really good to hear. Someone on here posted pretty conclusively that O'Guin was never going to play again, while someone else had him practicing in October.

It's hard to keep up sometimes lol.

Thanks again, PP, for catching up with players.

"... is hoping to be cleared" doesn't mean he will, but I'm glad the knee is getting better and that he is focused on the goal of returning to the field.

Gold luck, Mike! Keep hammering away at the rehab.

Really pulling for this guy. We need him to be a stud in the middle. And I can tell that he really wants to get out there and prove the doubters wrong so I love the attitude.
