For freshman running back Jared Williams, the BBVA Compass Bowl ended prematurely, thanks to a broken femur that required him to be carted off Legion Field. Williams visited with PonyFans.com to discuss the play on which he was injured, the surgery performed to repair the broken bone and his expectations for his football future.

Thanks for reaching out to Jared. I think all PonyFans felt it a little when we saw him get hurt in Birmingham, but Junior is right: it sounds like Jared has the right attitude. I love the fact that he plans to be back playing with the Ponies!
