Where to live Baton Rouge

Hey guys, I've accepted a project in LA about 20 miles SE of baton rouge. It will be about 1.5 years.

What are good spots to live in BR? Would like to rent a house ideally..

i lived there for years and my mom still lives just east of Baton Rouge.If you want to live in the city I enjoyed living in the garden district

Not an expert on Baton Rouge, but I remember driving through some nice areas near the LSU campus.
