2013 Recruiting Needs
I believe on will be defensive line. I am speculating that our starters will be Grenier at DE, Pittman at DT, and Hunt at DE. Also Aaron Davis is the backup DT. All are graduating so I would think that there would be a heavy emphasis on these positions. And since we only have 2 receivers over 6-2 (Holleman at 63 and Dieter at 6-4) I would think we would go after at least one or two tall fast receivers.
What are everyone's thoughts?

OL and DL always.
Then CB and QB.
We seem solid at LB and RB.
And then ATHs! Anyone with SPEED!

For sure DL. Need to get some big bodies in there. I saw somewhere that JJ said Nick Reed could either be a NT or RB and I cringed- we need big D-lineman to run the 3-4 effectively. Who in this incoming class besides Reed could play along the DL? Cramer? Naboushi? Both would need to put on some considerable weight

Division I-A BCS caliber class of players that USTA was not about to sign, and one with no admission issues.

Re: 2013 Recruiting Needs
With us having Zach for one more year, plus Wimbley, Williams (post recovery), Nlemchi and Prescott Line I would say we are pretty deep at RB.
DT is the most glaring need.

i keep hearing that nlemchi isn't ready to play from a protection standpoint. not sure if this is true, but somewhat concerning if it is.Peruna 2K5 wrote:With us having Zach for one more year, plus Wimbley, Williams (post recovery), Nlemchi and Prescott Line I would say we are pretty deep at RB.

williams has a long road to get back on the field.
the younger line is a 100% unproven commodity.
Wimbley is not a guy who can carry the load at RB.
basically, we have zach IMO.
we need someone to step up or find someone else.

It's true that I did hear that Nlemchi needs to get back into playing shape
