ANNOUNCING THE FIRST ANNUAL RBA SYMPOSIUM! Members, non-members, students, please join us in an open discussion on how we can make the fan experience in Ford Stadium better in 2012. RBA is a collective of over 100 SMU Mustang fans dedicated to taking SMU fandom to a next level and giving fans a voice and providing a vehicle for making fan ideas a reality. Why not? It communicates it is the first one, and that it will happen every year in the future. I see no grammatical error there.

I still owe a quick email summary to our Members but here are the highlights:

1) We'll have a permanent Blvd spot this year (thanks smusic00)!
2) Looking into catering it and offering season or one-time passes for food/drinks
3) Making RBA koozies to hand out (like SMU2BCS.com)
4) Making t-shirts for renewing Members (first time Members get the scarf)
5) We have a Square Up account so now we can accept debit/credit on the Blvd
6) Set up a RBA Ticketmaster account and will give out the log-in so Members can donate pickup tickets from other Members prior to games
7) Trying to set up something with SMU/Alumni bands
8 ) Planning RBA bus trips to most away games
9) You RBA card will get you a discount at Spread Eagle Saloon

If you want something done around SMU you need to get up and do it yourself. Kudos to RBA for making things happen. It's a meritocracy, like most things in life.
