Nick Saban mails 105 letters in ONE day to recruit
Hardest working man in college recruiting and his efforts have paid off with 2 national championships.

I love it how the fans get crazy. All the Georgia fans pointed out the UGA G on the kids' shorts.
It just never ends.

Just another example of another scumbag Coach try to do something even more scumbaggy to outdo the other scumbag Coach. People love to blame the NCAA but really the NCAA has to try to create rules to constrain such stupid excess. Where are the Teabaggies complaining of Government waste. Saban is an employee of the State of Alabama. This is really close to theft/abuse of government funds. Its not cute or funny.

Personally, I would feel stalked and this would be the LAST place I'd want to go.
I remember ED in the Pony Excess doc talking about a recruit showing up at his house at the 3 in the morning. "What are you thinking about ED?" "I'm thinking about going to sleep."

Yep, Saban is the worst recruiter around. SMU coaches should be able to out-recruit him easily.

Hard to believe this wasn't simply the result of U of A's computer and printer simply producing 100+ of the same form letter. I almost hope the kid doesn't open them up, what a disappointment.

I'm with Mex on this one. Can't imagine this happened as planned.

Saban already has a commitment form one of the top rated RBs in the nation (from right here in North Little Rock, AR). You would think he could have gotten by with about 73 letters.

Re: Nick Saban mails 105 letters in ONE day to recruit
Saban may or may not be the hardest-working recruiter out there, but Alabama's national championships (and Auburn's, and Florida's, and LSU's) have more to do with boosters showering recruits and players with impermissible gifts than whether Saban sends out more letters than the next guy. The SEC is disgusting. The only difference between the SEC and the old SWC is that the SEC schools have a code of silence and don't rat each other out.

If he had used email, could have saved a bundle in stamps.
