I have a question:
Why is it inappropriate to to have a thread directly quoting a non-SMU coach? The quote was widely reported in the media.
What rule was violated?

I was wondering what happened to this thread as well. I agree some basic civility should be expected out here, but I don't recall reading anything in that thread that was all that inflammatory (although I will admit I called Patterson "Fat Boy", so maybe that got it nuked - mods, it wasn't intended as a drug reference pun, simply an indication that Gary should be introduced to a Stair Master).
