Wish him the best but the health of our basketball program comes first, and we need a basketball coach that can turn this program into a winner. It's on Orsini now to bring us a top-caliber head coach that can both recruit and coach. This is a good day. It's time to look to the future.

I second that. Like Bennett, Doherty is a good man and gave SMU his all. I can see him landing on his feet in an AD type role somewhere.
