Hogs may go after Patterson

Let's hope not. He's taught us everything we know, and we are now using it against him. Let's get a few more Ws before GP exits.

It may be easier for him to cover up his drug ring in Fayetteville (the real number is somewhere between 5 and 82, according to [Gary Patterson], but yet their haven't been any further suspensions). And Arkansas is far closer to competing for a national title than TCU is.

Those are the only two reasons I can come up with for why he may even attempt to consider it.

If it was Dallas or Fayetteville, you'd have a point.

Fort Worth or Fayetteville... ehhhh...

Fatterson could be seeing the writing on the wall with the whole Big 12 thing. It's one thing being the big boy in the MWC, but TCU is about to return to their place they held in the SWC.

Fayetteville is a beautiful area. It is just very different. Which you like best is determined by personal taste.

Exactly. I'm a Dallas guy all the way, but I enjoy Fayetteville a hell of a lot more than Fort Worth.

Also worth considering: he'd make big money at either school. If he has any ego at all, and he sure seems to, the chance to win in the SEC has to appeal to him more than the chance to win in the Big 12.

I think in the area of urgent medical care, Patterson is better off in FtW than Fayetteville. I only say that because he is obese, lacks emotional self control, and looks like he's a tick away from the big one at every football game.

He had the team drug tested well before the scandal broke and subsequently. Only the 4 named tested positive.

the results of NCAA mandated drug test and school initiated drug tests are never released to the public because its against federal law. As Barry Switzer noted those players with drug problems mysteriously leave the program after their continued use calls for dismissal pursuant to the school's written drug policy.
