They've already chained off the street that runs along Moody and Crum, but last time I was over there they hadn't done anything big yet.
First part of the project is building the club addition.

Has anyone seen updated plans or renderings? It was my understanding the renderings released before were done a while back and were more conceptual in nature. They weren't that impressive considering what's being done today.

I love Ford, but it was completed just as stadium design was fundamentally shifting, and now the old gal looks older than her 12 years. I want Moody 2.0 to be at the leading edge of design and amenities so it stays relevant longer.

Ford is just bad. The low rise sideline stands and streetview out the endzone make it feel very small time.

Gotcha.
FWIW, I semi-disagree about Ford. It's a beautiful stadium that UAB's proposed (but now killed) stadium would have been based on. However, the lack of height of the stadium does make it feel smalltime.

notre dame seems to get by without an upper deck.

i like it without an upper deck (nobody wants to sit up there lets face it) fill in the end zone some day and call it a day. it it sells out - fine

I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.

At Ford, build two levels of suites with moveable windowns on the East side, while adding open-seating only on the south end, enclosing the horseshoe. That would give us 45+K for bigger games. Think big, Embrace the East and schedule A&M, ND, AFA and another BigXII team, such as Baylor.
