Re: TCU QB best in Texas?
Sounds legit.
He replaced an NFL starting pro bowl QB in Andy Dalton and broke some of his(dalton) records in his first year playing?
Who else can you say is better? In Texas
In the big 12 he might be the 3rd or 4th best

Andy Dalton’s single-season school passing record didn’t last long. The current Cincinnati Bengals starter threw for 2,857 yards in 2010, his fourth and final year as the starting quarterback at TCU. But his successor, Casey Pachall, broke that record last season, throwing for 2,921 yards in his first year as a starter.
Pachall also broke Dalton’s record for highest completion percentage in a season, connecting on 66.5 percent of his passes, eclipsing Dalton’s 2010 mark of 66.1 percent. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Pachall also completed 228 passes in 2011, six more than Dalton did when he set the school record with 222 during his freshman season in 2007. He’ll get a shot to break Dalton’s TCU record of 29 touchdown passes in 2010 when he begins his second year as the Horned Frogs starter after throwing for 27 touchdowns last season.
Coming into this upcoming season, ESPN college football analyst Brock Huard believes Pachall is the 10th-best quarterback in the country and the third-best in a pass-happy Big 12.

There isn't another QB that has really done anything besides Doege at Tech and he isn't anything special.

I think Doege was better last year. His team was bad but he performed just as well against better competition.BaylorHistory wrote:There isn't another QB that has really done anything besides Doege at Tech and he isn't anything special.

If GG performs up to his talent level finally then he will be better in my estimation.
