I was texted by an Irish friend, who was at the game. He marveled about two things. First, 35k crazy Americans made the trip and Aviva Stadium (build for soccer/futball and rugby) was packed. Second, what is it with all the timeouts and delays during the game? If you have ever watched Gaelic football, hurling, soccer or rugby, you know the play is mostly continuous.

As someone who plays rugby, yes, I do know the play is mostly continuous.Water Pony wrote:I was texted by an Irish friend, who was at the game. He marveled about two things. As both a rugby and soccer player, I get it.
Do you still play?
