They want to host 8 big college games a year in addition to the CB. It's hard to compete with this for the attention of un-affiliated fans.

Re: Competing with JerryWorld
One of my concerns is that these Jerryworld games give other teams entre into the Dallas market for recruiting purposes. At least in the past they had to schedule either us or TCU to play a Div One opponent here thus bringing us a little bit of attention and a lot of ticket sales. Texas and OU have long understood the value of their arrangement for recruiting purposes.GiddyUp wrote:F JERRY....IF IF we get to Boise type status, maybe we play there in BE?

Pay $300 a ticket.
$75 parking.
$10 beer.
2 hour drive time
And find yourself watching the game on the big screen.
Unless its your team - no value
Re: Competing with JerryWorld
But getting paid $4.7 million each to play a regular season game is very lucrative to the teams involved.SMU89 wrote:Until you go to a game there.Topper wrote:http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/01/sports/ncaafootball/cowboys-stadium-hopes-to-expand-college-football-lineup.html
