Reaching Out
Thought I read something somewhere about SMU reaching out to local colleges without teams. Just ran into two Brookhaven students at Walmart while getting stuff for tomorrow. They weren't aware of anything related to SMU Football. Told them where my spot was and to bring a ticket and the beer was on me. Always keep an eye out for prospects. We can do a little recruiting too.

The SMU is advertising is part of the reaching out to non SMU alums. As is The Corral. Be sure to send them over there, too.
I heard the SMU ad on The Ticket and think it fits the bill as far as getting some of the casual local college football fans to the game. Hopefully it will get some new folks to the game and the team plays exciting football to bring 'em back.
