Do you really think Nick

Post by JonesDoe »

Saban could turn SMU into an atmosphere that would be attractive to five star athletes? My obvious question to your obvious reply is how much will it cost the circle of champions. How long would it take ol Nick to have a winning season in the BIg Eastern Conference? Could ten million a year bring him and the best of class to the hilltop? Could ten million a year give us what we want or would it be another disappointment too? We deserve so much more than we are getting!

Someone from Coach Saban's coaching tree that is young, dynamic, and is willing to work hard would be fine.

Well let's see, Kirby Smart is young (37), dynamic, has a work ethic, smart, and strives everyday to be a lifelong learner (something we don't have now). He's making like $750,000 yearly at Bama - steal him NOW before the Vols do. He WILL take SMU to the next level

Do you mean Coach Todd Berry at University of Lousiana Monroe?

I doubt many of the players at ULM would have the academics to play at SMU.

IPP- I suspect that might be the issue with a lot of the coaches at the smaller schools like ULM and La Tech.
