Not sure of the quality of the snaps and holds; however, Hover appears to be solely responsible for 3 misses of which 2 were very short. Not a very good aspect of special teams.

Hover had a bad night, no doubt. However, on a 48 yarder, he hit the upright half way up the pole...that is a strong leg. His misses were struck solid and flew well, they just went wide right...he had some solid moments last year, maybe he is just in a funk that he can snap out of....

I hate field goal misses, but he is striking the ball.....I think we have all seen sub par SMU kickers in the past float up woundend ducks or blade one that gets about 5 feet off the ground.

Hover is all we got, He got good distance tonight and struck em solid, he just needs to swing it over about 10 feet left. I think he can work through it.
