I know this sounds negative but we don't deserve to wear the blue unis. I would love red away and blue at home or vis versa either way no white

Due to NCAA regulations, white unis have to be worn in all away games unless the home team agrees to wear white (which the home team only does if they are like LSU and want to wear white at home anyway)

Ugh I hate regulations... I think as long as you ask the other team if its ok then whatever. Whites boring and sucks. We are red and blue team we should be able to show off both of our colors

What the eff does that mean? "deserve"?!? SMU has had a blue jersey until 2009. We went winless and 1-11 in blue jerseys. What are you getting at? Blue is a blessed color reserved only for royalty or something?

Yes and when we went winless we took it away... Lol just joking chillax. I just think the blue is reminder of what we were rather than red what we are now. Yes blue is the blessed color with those blue and red pony helmets lol

Aside from the fact that our blue pony express era jerseys are the most recognizable and identifiable with our fans, think about how unique it would be.

So many teams wear red, and I can't help but think of some God awful tech uniforms when I see us in that red. Now if we went with a beautiful, bright, vivid blue, that would make us so stand out and satisfy all of us that want to go back to a look that resonates with some people still. There are only a handful of teams that where that color, UCLA, Air Force, and Memphis come to mind..but an astronomical amount wear just your basic red.

If done well, ours could blow these out of the water. I still love that mock up that someone did using the NIKE template. I tweet at SMU athletics and Rick Hart all the time and have it as my twitter profile pic...in fact, i tweeted the picture of those jerseys at him once too and got a response saying "hmm.." haha
