Big game for GG
With the season reaching the halfway point it is time for Gilbert to reign in this offense[especially against Tulane]-if not then.......it will be time to finally explore our other options.
Re: Big game for GG
Haha, Jones will keep GG in there just because of the relationship with his dad.

I'm pretty sure that is the way many young'uns keep their jobs in this town.GiddyUp wrote: Jones will keep GG in there just because of the relationship with his dad.

if that were true, then JJ must be good friends with the WRs dads... geez that many drop catches would have been auto kicked off team at SLC

Barring injury Gilbert will be the starting QB for the remainder of the season. Next season will be a better time to explore options as it will be a rebuilding year and a lot of jobs will be up for grabs.

JJ's judge of qb talent here has been lacking to say the least-BLM,Padron,McDermott, and now GG and he started it off by benching a highly successful JWill as we all know by now. What has happened to the the person who put Brennan and Chang in charge in Hawaii?

I foresee a 300+ yard game with 2 TDs and 0 interceptions. His reads have to speed up and stop over-thinking. Good game to get a few of the last "kinks" out before UH, who we have the best chance in beating in my 20+ years of being a PonyFan.

I think our offense needs a huge day to build confidence for UH. We can beat the Coogs but we'll need to score some points.
