He has offers to play college basketball from Illinois and DePaul. He is the younger brother of Shannon Brown (Lakers) by 9 ½ years. He played AAU ball for Mac Irvin Fire 16U (Chicago, IL). Good try at justifying June's poor recruiting this year. Look at the UCF and Houston classes and the BCS offers those commits have. UCF has 30 BCS offers to commits, Houston has 23 BCS offers to commits, and SMU has 10 BCS. And all the BCS offers for SMU are to one recruit. They are upgrading their recruiting classes and SMU is still recruiting like they are in CUSA. UCF and Houston are doing like LB and aiming high.
