If we are going to spend 2 years developing Gilbert why not invest in one of the young guys. Seriously. Gilbert throws bullets that our WRs simply can't catch and misses wide open receivers that don't have a defender within 20 yards of. Has anyone suggested that he either throw it away or take off down the field if no one is open (or he's being pressured)?
Beyond me how the #1 player in the US (at one point in his career) can be so inconsistent given his age...whether he's had our 'playbook' since August or not.
