MIA Players?

Post by ojaipony »

Does anyone have anything on the following players? Where are they? Status?

KC Nlemchi. Someone posted something about him being in the coaches doghouse (about what I do not know) and possibly grade issues. This guy looked like a beast/very versatile athlete from what I've heard/seen and we desperately need a Zach Line heir apparent. Prescott migh end up being his brother's heir apparent, but KC seems like a really special versatile athlete who could be used in many different ways. Maybe just wishful thinking on my part. Anyone know anything credible on his status?

Lincoln Richard. I saw pictures of him in the stands for the UH game. He looked to have the biggest upside of anyone we got last year (6'3" with speed, some very good offers, came from great program - JG I think was singing his praises earlier). Is he still good in terms of eligibility? I'm assuming we're just redshirting him since we have so much depth at LB already. But, if he's good and we're just redshirting him, why do some redshirts dress out and some don't? I know Christian Holloway has been redshirted and doesn't dress out. I wonder why. Anyone know? Do they practice with the team?

Daniel Roundtree. He has the size and experience and we are so thin in the secondary. Has he even seen the field lately? Is he just that bad? I saw his highlight reel from JUCO and I thought he'd be starting by now quite frankly. Anyone have a scouting report on him? What's the deal with him?

Stavion Lowe. I think he found out late in the summer that he is ineligible this year due to some kind of technicality he was unaware of. Does he have 2 years still left then?

Haven't seen Zack Woods in a while. HE played early in the year but haven't seen him on the field lately.

It has been said on here before that only the travel teams dresses out. In some cases I'm assuming redshirts travel and dress out for emergency situations. For example, we have no intention of playing Burcham this year, but we travel him in case of emergency.

That makes sense. Thanks. I'm assuming they are still practicing/maybe as scout teams? Folks like Richard and Holloway? Holloway especially needs the practice.

I wish we were deep enough that we could have redshirted the entire incoming class. Bodes well for the future if these guys have another year toi develop physically and to get accustomed to the demands of college life

How are things out in God's country Ojaipony? Love that place and may be moving to Ventura later this year. As to the MIA players hope they all stay with us-we need them moving forward.

We actually had a number 38 on the field against Houston. He played on special teams and was the guy that smacked the ball away on the first muffed punt. The roster says that is supposed to be Lincoln, but he didn't have a name on the Jersey. Anyone know for sure?

Just living the dream. PM me if you come out to Ventura - we need more Ponies out here! You in L.A. now?

JG Davis puts a velco jersey when he goes in for punt team. He needs an eligible number as a gunner.
