1938 SMU music sheet
I stumbled across this find on eBay today. Not something I am interested in at all, but with all the band members on here I thought one of you might be interested in it.

Thanks. That would certainly be a nice addition to the SMU memorabilia collection!mustangxc wrote:I stumbled across this find on eBay today. Not something I am interested in at all, but with all the band members on here I thought one of you might be interested in it.

I'm surprised by the lack of flood damage.

You're wrong but that's okay. It's political season so you have the right to be wrong.peruna11 wrote:Unfortunately, the song list hasn't changed since.

Re: 1938 SMU music sheet
Actually most interesting to me is that I've never heard of these songs, "We're Mustangs" and "Hail SMU". I know Peruna was the unofficial fight song starting in like 1928, and Pony Battle Cry didn't come around until maybe 1960. Go, Mustangs, Go (which was played on all the EA Sports games up until about 2001) was from the 40's I think. Would be interesting to hear what they sound like, although I don't think these were ever recorded.
Sent from my Motorola brick.

I got it. Thanks for the heads up. This will look good next to my Mustang Band blanket.

Notice the old Mustang logo on the cover. That used to grace the covers of SMU's media guides into the 1960s.
