Dallas Cowboys Fans are Screaming for Cole Beasley

Let's hope Jason Garrett feels the pressure and lets Beasley get a chance!

And on another note, both Dez and Ogletree DNP in practice yesterday.

Dez - hip
Olgetree - hamstring

How was he only a 2-star?

If he was a 2-star, he should be made to pay back the value of his scholarship - everybody knows a "2-star" can't play.

The first time I saw him get out of the ENTIRE TEAM tackle, I was thinking that was a fluke.
Then it shows clip after clip, his awareness on the field. Never saw that before. Awesome.

Always been a fan of Cole’s, and I like his folks. I recall not so long ago many on this board (some very vocal), calling for his removal from the SMU line-up. Too small, too slow, can’t get open, not strong enough … and the big one was HE CAN’T CATCH. Stallion, you are still a Beasley family favorite … esp. his mom. Anybody can see the skill and talent of those who get labeled 4-5 star … takes a little more effort and ability to see those who the experts call 2-3 stars that can play with the others.

Way to go Cole. We have a few just like you on this team now. I’ve seen some highlights of current players on the team that have not been posted or seen I’m sure by this board … you would be amazed at the skill they had … many both ways and in multiple positions. I don’t mean against weaker opponents either. I think some of us are going to be surprised at the guys who get a chance at an NFL camp next year, and at least have an opp (Draft or other means). I’m not just talking about the guys we always talk about either, or who we label as the can’t miss studs. I heard Chris Carter on ESPN one time make the statement that they are more 3 stars in the NFL then 4&5. I’m not sure of factual nature of his comment, but I could rationalize many things that could make that accurate.

Anyway …. Great Job Cole … Proud of you … I love it when people prove the experts wrong.

Away back whe I was in JHS there was often an impromptu session of "tackle the man with the ball" on the playground after lunch and before the next class started. It was domionated by the football players. Some of the Beasley clips look kind of like that - except Cole never gets tackled.

I like Beasley, but SportDFW.com has a "guy at a bar" level of analysis.

Imagine him and Whitten running over the middle and trying to cover them at the same time. They both are precision route runners unlike our other receivers. Atleast Romo would know where they are supposed to be. Heck, they were saying in camp that Beasley couldn't be covered-give him a chance finally and sit Ogletree down.
