Bottom line is the coach is not preparing this team very well.

jj said in his postgame presser that So. Miss. looks the same as last yr. even though their record is a joke. Wonder if he is just giving us a setup if we lose to them next week..

Man, you guys must love TCU with all of your anti-June sentiment and backing it up with facts and stuff. Take this wild talk to killer frogs or someplace....

or he doesn't have enough talent on his roster to beat the teams we've played with winning recordsRebel10 wrote:Bottom line is the coach is not preparing this team very well.

Even if we did not have the talent we could still have played in the losses better not not gotten blown out. That is on coaching. UCF should not have blown us out. It should have been a closer game.

2011-TCU (11-2)
2010-Tulsa (10-3)
2009-ECU (9-5), Nevada (8-5)

Providing facts is completely illegal on this forum....unless they're positive.OR-See-Nee wrote:Man, you guys must love TCU with all of your anti-June sentiment and backing it up with facts and stuff. Take this wild talk to killer frogs or someplace....

Re: JJ is 4 and 21 against teams with winning records
Actually Rebel, you are mistaken.
JJ was 4-20 against teams with winning records entering this season.
That was 2-10 against OOC opponents and 2-10 against C-USA opponents, which kinda rebuts the argument that it is only difficult OOC opponents such as Tech and A&M which skew the numbers.
But that was last year. We now have losses against TCU (6-3), A&M (7-2) and UCF (7-2). A&M and UCF are guaranteed winning seasons so JJ is now actually 4-22 against teams with winning records and if TCU wins another game this year, JJ will be 4-23.
Tulsa, and under ideal circumstances, another bowl game, will be our only remaining opportunities to play teams with winning records.
One final note, the 4 wins we have this season are against teams Sagarin has ranked #101 - Houston, #137 - UTEP, #152 - SFA and #158 - Memphis.

Sounds like a devastating stat. But how well do other 7-5 type teams do against teams with 7-5 records or better? Need more data.

When you find(if ever) out let us know. I guess this shows the June to the death supports are really reaching now.ponyboy wrote:Sounds like a devastating stat. But how well do other 7-5 type teams do against teams with 7-5 records or better? Need more data.
