Redshirted in 2008, played in 09/10, then sat out last year for transferring.

Re: Austin Fuller
The question is....does he have another year of eligibility? He red shirted, and sat out a year so if he attends Graduate school at SMU, he may have another year of playing left over.

Re: Austin Fuller
He would have needed to enroll in an SMU grad program immediately upon transferring to get that extra yearponyscott wrote:The question is....does he have another year of eligibility? Re: Austin Fuller
Redshirted in 2008, then played at Virginia Tech 2009, 2010, and sat out 2011 in order to transfer, which has to count as a year of eligibility. So he is a Senior.
Re: Austin Fuller
Just asking...if he still has a year of eligibility and maybe Virginia Tech doesn't offer the graduate level courses and SMU does....why can't he apply for the year to play?CalallenStang wrote:He would have needed to enroll in an SMU grad program immediately upon transferring to get that extra yearponyscott wrote:The question is....does he have another year of eligibility? Re: Austin Fuller
You have to enroll in the grad program immediately upon transferring. That is why Gilbert took 27 hours at Texas instead of coming to SMU for spring practice - he needed to enroll in a grad program at SMU to get that extra yearponyscott wrote:Just asking...if he still has a year of eligibility and maybe Virginia Tech doesn't offer the graduate level courses and SMU does....why can't he apply for the year to play?CalallenStang wrote:He would have needed to enroll in an SMU grad program immediately upon transferring to get that extra yearponyscott wrote:The question is....does he have another year of eligibility? Re: Austin Fuller
The other question is why it took 10 games for him to get some playing time.
