Senior Day

Post by GiddyUp »

I know most of us are ticked off, but if you are on the fence about the game, at least show up for Senior Day. These guys have been through a lot and deserve our support.... DJ, Zach, Margus and the rest of them.

If you do come stay until the end so you can see the postgame ceremony. Resist the urge to bail.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

The way we now do it after the game is so much more "meaningful" than the cheesy pre-game format that we - and other teams - have done. Some people consider it an imposition to stay for an entire football game. To recognize and show appreciation for the likes of Zach Line, Margus Hunt, Ja'Gared Davis, Taylor Reed, et al. is appropriate. It's the least a true fan can do.

If we were completely lacking in class and tact, yes.

We can agree to disagree. Our games are 4 hours long

Not to mention we might have 5,000 fans to thank them before a game vs. 50 after.
50 might be pushing it.

And that's what is so disappointing. BUT, the fans not-watching-the-clock will always be there. The players will be there after a 4 hour game - is staying once a year too much to ask? Never mind, I know the answer.

will jj run off of the field before or after the alma mater is played? Couldn't bother to hang around the last couple of times IIRC.
