Very happy the players get this opportunity. They deserve it. Maybe JJ gets a one way ticket but doubt that. Also like playing unopposed on Xmas. I can relive the promise of 2008 or whenever that was.

I hoping to get to go to my 3rd straight bowl game but I'm happy that the seniors are getting end their SMU career with a bowl.

CUSA bowl proceeds are equally split. No financial advantage in one bowl over another.

I don't know, we did ok at Birmingham last year. Better than Pitt did. Give us Vandy or a BCS opponent, and SMU fans will turnout for a bowl.

I don't think JJ really cares if we travel or not, just as long as he gets to go to Hawaii for a bowl game.

There is an allowance for the school. If the school wants to do more they can. I do not know how much the allowance is.
