UCF Gets C-USA Bowl Action Underway in BOB Bowl

UCF-Ball State should be a pretty good bowl game in Tampa tonight.

After all of the talk this season about how good the MAC is we will see how a good UCF team (and 2013 BIG EAST member) deals with Ball State.

UCF should have a home crowd advantage, but they could also be a bit down for this one after the two close late-season losses to Tulsa.

It certainly shapes up to be an entertaining Beef O Bodden Bowl.

No joke. It's borderline unwatchable.

I was kind of hoping we would get Beef O Bodden since it would be a new bowl, a fun city, inexpensive, and good timing with only one day off work and the ability to be back home for Christmas.

But, after seeing that turf it almost makes you glad we got the Sheraton Hawai`i Bowl.

Wow. UCF takes over after a missed FG with 55 seconds left and has a long drive to score a TD and take a 28-7 lead at the half.

I figured UCF would put it on Ball State if they were up for the game.

It looks like C-USA will start 1-0. East Carolina is in action tomorrow!

Tropicana dome, or whatever they call it, is a horrible place to watch baseball. The field looks like half of it is dead grass even though it is fake

That is the cause. For baseball games, the turf looks normal. But for football games, cameras are placed at different (and lower) angles which causes the light to reflect poorly off the surface. http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/sports ... -bowl.html
