We got nothing in Arkansas but it is because they shut down the paper early for Christmas Eve. Even during regular time I think they put it to bed around 9:00 with the exception of space for an Arkansas game if one is being played.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
If the Chronicle isn't writing about UH and its dismal season under Levine, it's been all about Johnny Football. Rice isn't even worth mentioning 99% of the time unless it's about the Bayou Bucket and even then, it's mostly about the Coogs. So don't be too shocked.

What burns me up is there is no mention of SMU's victory in the FW Star Telegram, at least in their online edition, there is only a "preview" that was posted yesterday. The Dallas Morning News follows TCU like a hawk but we don't even get a mention in the other major daily in the DFW area. Worthless rag.

I rarely see SMU related stories in the FWST on line, unless we are playing tcu.
It is Christmas Day. Absent some kind of disaster, newspapers go to press early. Game ended around 10pm. Papers had already gone to press. Heck, they may have locked the sports section in the day before or before 6pm. Dmn felt an obligation to go to press after the game result.
Keep that in mind when June talks about how great the Hawaii Bowl is. Yes, it is the only game on, but this is the kind of problem you have.

Not even a score in teeny type!
Why, if you're a PonyFan, would that be funny?
The comments about holidays affecting deadlines is right, I assume, although I looked around on-line and found it in a lot of papers (or at least on their websites) from coast to coast. When we hammer someone in a bowl game, it should be in every paper!
