they are pretty much filled up. In fact, the only real remaining spot is at DB but 2 guys are considering offers for that final spot

To bad. Sometimes in days gone by, some of the big schools (I think mainly UT and OU) would suggest to a good prospect to go to a small school or Jr college. And, stay in touch. I don't know if the rules permit that anymore. But, if they do, he could probably get a scholarship at Trinity Valley, etc. and let SMU watch to see how he develops.
